Cassie’s point of view
might not be quit that of mine
I know
but we sit together
on the bench
admiring the view
over the moor, forest and the city.
She sit quit close
as long as I
scratching her
behind her ears -
Enough of that
she just let go
looking back at me
saying - now let’s get going,
there’s some sheep down there
I have to visit.

bring good spirit to
man and beast
